Investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department – Marijuana Enforcement Team along with deputies from several different stations served 29 search warrants and conducted two traffic stops in the High Desert in week 11 of Operation Hammer Strike.
Investigators eradicated a total of 132 greenhouses found at these locations, as well as two indoor locations.
Most of search warrants were served in the desert, but one was issued in the 11200 block of Price Drive in Loma Linda, although no arrest was listed. Others were served in the Los Angeles County cities of Monterey Park, Rosemead and San Gabriel.
Only eight of the suspects were from the High Desert. Six were from Mexico, five were from San Gabriel and two were from Rosemead. Others were from Diamond Bar, Monterey Park, Houston, Fort Worth, Madison, Wisconsin, Flushing, New York, Oakland Gardens, New York and Jersey City, New Jersey.
The suspects were cited or booked on charges of cultivation of cannabis, over six plants, possession for sales of marijuana, and illegal water discharge.
