Lowell Herb Co. Responds To California State Lawsuit

Lowell is a leader in the legal cannabis market and it has been our mission since our launch in 2017 to provide our customers with tested, regulated, high-quality cannabis products and service. Our customers have always been our top priority.  We have never released a product to the market that has not been tested in a State-licensed testing facility.  All Lowell products are sourced and sold exclusively in California’s legal cannabis marketplace.  We only distribute our products through licensed and verified retail and distribution outlets.

It has come to Lowell’s attention that the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) contends there was a licensing issue between December 2018 and March 2019 at a facility in San Luis Obispo County.  During this brief period of time, all products were still tested in a State-licensed facility and sold through California’s legal marketplace.  Since April 2019, we have been packaging and distributing exclusively from Lowell’s State-licensed manufacturing and distribution facility in Los Angeles County.

We have contacted the State and intend to work cooperatively with the State to resolve this matter.  Lowell will continue to supply our vendors and customers with the highest quality tested and regulated products for California’s legal cannabis marketplace.
